• On/Off Switch - This switch controls the flow of power from the power source to the inverter.  It does not control the power running from the inverter to the equipment of the appliance being operated.
• On/Off Indicator Light - The LED will illuminate green when the inverter is powered in normal conditions.  This light will turn RED and the inverter will automatically shut down when any of the following problems occur:
• Short Circuit Protection - The LED will illuminate red and the inverter will automatically shut down until short is removed.
• Low Voltage Alarm - The LED will illuminate red and an alarm will sound when the voltage from the battery discharge to 10.5+/-0.5 volts DC.  This is an indication that the battery needs to be recharged.
• Over Voltage Protection - The LED will illuminate red and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the input exceeds 15.5+/-1 volts DC.
• Under Voltage Protection - The LED will illuminate red and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the input is less than 10.0+/-0.5 volts DC.
• Overload Protection - The LED will illuminate red and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the continuous draw or the surge draw of the equipment being operated from the inverter exceeds the maximum power rating for the inverter.
• Thermal Protection - The LED will illuminate red and the inverter will automatically turn itself off when the circuit temperature exceeds 150°F.
• Full Output Power - Compared to other inverters that have reduced output over time.
• Wall Mounting - Whistler inverters have provisions for wall mounting; slotted holes allow for easy wall mounting of the unit.
